1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your JouSecu 1080P Wireless Battery Operated Outdoor Security Camera. This camera is designed to provide reliable home surveillance with features such as 2-way audio, night vision, and PIR motion detection, ensuring enhanced security for your property.

2. Product Overview

Familiarize yourself with the components of your security camera:

3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your JouSecu security camera:

1. Charge the Camera: Fully charge the camera using the Micro USB charging port. The battery can last 2-5 months on a full charge.
2. Download the CloudEdge App: Scan the QR code below corresponding to your mobile device's operating system (Android or iOS) or search for "CloudEdge" in your App Store (Google Play or Apple App Store).

3. Create an Account: Open the CloudEdge app and follow the prompts to create a new account or sign in if you already have one. Allow all requested permissions (microphone, camera, location, notifications) for full functionality.
4. Power On the Camera: Open the protective flap on the camera's underside and press and hold the power button until the lens clicks and the red LED indicator lights up.
5. Reset the Camera: If the camera is not flashing red, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes red.
6. Add Device in App: In the CloudEdge app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device. Select "Camera" from the device list.
7. Connect to WiFi: Select your 2.4G WiFi network (5G WiFi is not supported) and enter your network password. Ensure you are near your WiFi router for a strong signal during setup.
8. Scan QR Code: The app will display a QR code. Remove any protective film from the camera lens. Hold your phone 5-8 inches (12-20 cm) in front of the camera lens so the camera can scan the QR code. You will hear a confirmation sound from the camera once it successfully scans the code.
9. Complete Setup: Once the camera confirms the scan, tap "Next" in the app. The app will indicate when the device is found and connected. You can then nickname your camera (e.g., "Pool Camera").
10. Mount the Camera: Securely mount the camera using the provided outdoor security mount. The camera can be removed from its base for convenient recharging.

4. Operating Instructions

Your JouSecu camera offers several operational modes and features:

• Live View: Access real-time video feed from your camera directly through the CloudEdge app.
• 2-Way Audio: The camera features a built-in microphone and high-powered speakers. To use the 2-way audio, hold down the intercom button in the app and speak. Your voice will be transmitted through the camera's speaker, allowing clear communication with visitors or anyone near the camera. The camera's microphone is always active, allowing you to hear sounds from the camera's environment.

• PIR Motion Detection: The camera is equipped with a PIR motion sensor. You can adjust motion sensitivity and customize alarm plans within the app. Upon detecting motion, the camera sends real-time alerts to your phone and saves motion-triggered videos to a micro SD card or paid cloud storage. The detection distance is up to 32 feet.

• Night Vision: The 1080P Full HD camera includes 4 infrared lights for automatic black and white night vision. It provides a clear view up to 55 feet in low-light conditions, ensuring continuous surveillance.

5. Maintenance

• Battery Life: The camera's rechargeable battery can last for 2-5 months on a single full charge, depending on usage and motion detection frequency.

If you encounter issues with your camera, consider the following:

• Connectivity Issues: Ensure your camera is within range of a 2.4G WiFi network. 5G WiFi is not supported. A strong signal is crucial for stable performance.
• Camera Not Responding: Try resetting the camera by pressing and holding the reset button for 5 seconds.
• App Permissions: Verify that the CloudEdge app has all necessary permissions enabled on your smartphone (camera, microphone, storage, location, notifications).
• Battery Depletion: If the camera is unresponsive, ensure it is fully charged.
