Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the train set components with a damp cloth as needed. Do not immerse electronic parts in water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Battery Replacement
When the train's lights dim or sounds become faint, it's time to replace the batteries. Refer to the 'Battery Installation' section for instructions. Always use new AA batteries and dispose of old batteries responsibly.
Troubleshooting
- Train not moving or sounds not working: Check if the batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Ensure the power switch (if present) is in the 'ON' position.
- Train derails frequently: Verify that all track pieces are securely connected and laid on a flat, stable surface. Uneven surfaces can cause derailment.
- Control station buttons unresponsive: Ensure the train is passing directly over the sensor area of the control station. Check battery levels if the control station has its own power source (though typically powered by the main train's interaction).
