Setup
1. Physical Installation and Wiring
Before connecting any wires, ensure that the power supply to the circuit is completely disconnected. Refer to the "Wiring Diagram" section for detailed connection instructions. The module can be powered via AC/DC 7V-32V input or a Micro-USB 5V port.

2. Wi-Fi Configuration (eWelink App)
- Download App: Download the eWelink APP from your smartphone's app store (available for Android and iOS).
- Register Account: Register for an eWelink account if you do not already have one.
- Network Preparation: Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4G Wi-Fi network. The module does not support 5G Wi-Fi or Mesh Wi-Fi systems. If your router broadcasts both 2.4G and 5G networks with the same name, consider temporarily disabling 5G or renaming the 2.4G SSID for easier setup.
- Enter Pairing Mode: Power on the module. Locate the manual switch/setting button on the module (refer to the labeled diagram). Press and hold this button until the Wi-Fi LED indicator flashes rapidly. This indicates the module is in pairing mode.
- Add Device in App: Open the eWelink app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Wi-Fi configuration. Ensure the module is placed close to your Wi-Fi router during the pairing process.

Operating Modes
The Newgoal Ewelink DC1 module supports two primary operating modes: Jog (Momentary) and Self-locking. These modes can be configured within the eWelink app.
1. Jog Mode (Momentary)
In Jog mode, when you activate the switch via the eWelink app (or the manual button on the module), the relay will turn on momentarily and then automatically turn off after a preset duration (typically 1 second, but often adjustable in the app). This mode is suitable for applications requiring a brief pulse, such as opening a garage door, triggering a computer power button, or operating an elevator call button.

2. Self-locking Mode
In Self-locking mode, when you press the button on the eWelink app (or the manual button on the module) once, the relay will activate and remain on. To turn the relay off, you must press the button again. This mode is ideal for applications where a device needs to remain continuously on or off until manually toggled, such as controlling lights, fans, or humidifiers.

Wiring Diagram
The following diagram illustrates the connection points on the Newgoal Ewelink DC1 module. Ensure all connections are secure and correctly aligned with the intended function.

Image: A comprehensive diagram detailing the layout of the Newgoal Ewelink DC1 module. It highlights the 2.4GHz WiFi Module, WiFi Antenna, ON-OFF LED, Manual Switch/Setting Button, Momentary/Self-lock Toggle Button, Work Mode LED, WiFi LED, Micro-USB 5V/250mA input, Input AC/DC 7-32V, COM (Common), NO (Normally Open), and NC (Normally Closed) terminals for the relay load. Dimensions are also provided.
- Input AC/DC 7-32V: Main power input for the module.
- Micro-USB 5V/250mA: Alternative power input (e.g., from a standard USB power adapter).
- COM (Common): The common terminal for the relay switch.
- NO (Normally Open): The normally open terminal of the relay. When the relay is activated, COM connects to NO.
- NC (Normally Closed): The normally closed terminal of the relay. When the relay is activated, COM disconnects from NC.
- Relay Load: AC 250V 10A, DC 30V 10A. Ensure your connected device's power requirements do not exceed these limits.
App Integration
The Newgoal Ewelink DC1 module integrates seamlessly with popular smart home platforms.
eWelink App
The eWelink app is the primary interface for controlling and managing your relay module. Through the app, you can:
- Remotely turn devices on/off.
