Setup Instructions
Your Casper Element Mattress is conveniently delivered as a 'bed-in-a-box' for easy transport and setup. Follow these steps to prepare your mattress for use:
- Unbox the Mattress: Carefully remove the rolled mattress from its shipping box. It is recommended to have assistance due to the weight and size of the package.
- Position the Mattress: Place the rolled mattress on your bed frame or foundation in the desired sleeping area.
- Remove Plastic Packaging: Carefully cut and remove the outer plastic layers. The mattress will begin to unroll and expand.
- Allow for Full Expansion: Allow the mattress to fully expand. While it will begin to take shape immediately, full expansion can take 24 to 72 hours. During this time, the mattress may have a slight odor, which is normal and will dissipate.
