4. Setup

Follow these steps to assemble your vacuum cleaner before first use:

  1. Attach the Hose: Insert the hose end into the suction inlet on the main unit until it clicks securely into place.
  2. Connect the Telescopic Tube: Attach the telescopic tube to the hose handle. Extend the tube to a comfortable working length by pressing the release button and pulling.
  3. Attach the Floor Nozzle: Connect your desired floor nozzle (e.g., PowerClean or Hard Floor Brush) to the end of the telescopic tube. Ensure it is firmly attached.
  4. Check Dust Bag and Filter: Open the dust bag compartment and ensure an S-Bag and the E12 Hygiene Filter are correctly installed. Refer to Section 6 for details on checking and replacing these components.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the main power button located on the vacuum cleaner unit to turn the appliance on or off.

The VX82-1-4MB offers flexible power control:

  • Rotary Button: Use the central rotary button on the main unit to continuously adjust the suction power for different surfaces, from minimum (MIN) to maximum (MAX).

6. Maintenance

  2. Open Compartment: Locate and open the dust bag compartment cover.
  3. Remove Full Bag: Carefully pull out the full S-Bag. The hygienic closing system ensures minimal contact with dust.
  4. Insert New Bag: Insert a new S-Bag, ensuring it is correctly seated in the holder.
  5. Close Compartment: Close the dust bag compartment cover securely.

6.2 Cleaning the Hygiene Filter

The E12 Hygiene Filter is washable. It is recommended to clean the filter regularly, or when suction power noticeably decreases.

  1. Power Off and Unplug: Turn off and unplug the vacuum cleaner.
  2. Access Filter: Locate the filter compartment, usually at the rear or side of the unit. Open the cover and remove the filter.
  3. Wash Filter: Rinse the filter under lukewarm running water. Do not use detergents. Gently squeeze out excess water.
  4. Dry Filter: Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting. Do not dry in direct sunlight or with heat.
  5. Reinstall Filter: Once completely dry, place the filter back into its compartment and close the cover securely.

6.3 Cleaning Nozzles and Accessories

Periodically check nozzles and accessories for blockages or accumulated debris. Remove any hair, threads, or large particles to maintain effective suction.
