Setup
- Charge the Device: Before first use, ensure both the wearable thermometer patch and the storage box (display unit) are fully charged. Connect the power adapter to the storage box. The wearable thermometer charges when placed inside the storage box.
- Prepare the Thermometer Patch: Gently attach one of the medical-grade adhesive patches to the back of the wearable thermometer. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Apply to the Body: For accurate readings, apply the thermometer patch directly to the armpit. Ensure the temperature sensor is pointed towards the center of the armpit. Lower the arm naturally to ensure close contact with the skin.
- Power On: Press the power button on the storage box to turn it on. The display will show the current temperature.

Operating Instructions
- Real-Time Temperature Display: Once the wearable thermometer is correctly placed and the storage box is on, the current body temperature will be continuously displayed on the storage box's screen.
- Fever Alerts: The device is programmed to alert users when a fever is detected.
- A beep will sound if the temperature rises above 38°C / 100°F.
- The LED indicator will blink if the temperature reaches 39°C / 102°F.
- Monitoring Range: The thermometer measures temperatures within the range of 25°C-42°C / 77°F-107.6°F.
- Battery Life: The wearable thermometer patch has an operating time of up to 24 hours on a full charge. The storage box has an operating time of up to 72 hours.
- Low Battery/Disconnection Alerts: The device will notify you if the battery is low or if the connection between the wearable patch and the storage box is lost. It also alerts if the device falls off.

Maintenance
- Adhesive Patch Replacement: It is recommended to replace the double-sided gel stickers after 24 hours of use or whenever necessary to ensure proper adhesion and hygiene.
- Cleaning: After each use, gently clean the thermometer patch and the silicone wand with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: After measuring, place the thermometer patch (temperature sensitive patch) back into the storage box. Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Environmental Conditions: Do not place or use this product under high temperature or humid conditions. Operating temperature: -10°C~50°C / 14°F~122°F; Storage temperature: -20°C~60°C / -4°F~140°F.
Troubleshooting
- Inaccurate Readings: Ensure the thermometer patch is securely attached to the center of the armpit and that the arm is lowered naturally to maintain close skin contact. Readings are for reference only and not for medical judgment.
- No Display/Device Not Turning On: Check if the device is fully charged. Connect the power adapter and allow it to charge for 1.5 hours (for the patch) or 3 hours (for the storage box).
- Disconnection/Device Falling Off: Ensure the adhesive patch is fresh and properly applied. Replace the adhesive patch if it loses its stickiness.
- Leakage or Deformation: Stop using the device immediately if any leakage or deformation occurs. Contact customer support at support@vava.com.
