Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.
Emptying the Dust Tank
- The dust tank has a capacity of 500 ml. It should be emptied regularly, especially when the MAX line is reached.
- To empty, detach the main unit from the telescopic tube. Locate the release button for the dust tank, usually at the bottom of the unit.
- Press the button to open the dust tank and empty its contents into a waste bin.
- Close the dust tank securely after emptying.
Cleaning the High-Efficiency Filter
- The high-efficiency filter is crucial for trapping allergens and maintaining suction power. It should be cleaned periodically.
- After emptying the dust tank, carefully remove the filter components from inside the tank. This typically involves a pre-filter and a main HEPA-type filter.
- Tap the filters gently to dislodge dust and debris. For thorough cleaning, rinse the filters under running water. Ensure they are completely dry before reinserting them into the vacuum cleaner.
- Reassemble the filters and dust tank, ensuring all parts are correctly positioned and sealed.
