Setup
Hardware Setup
Before powering on, ensure all physical connections are secure. Connect the antennas to the rear panel of the receiver. Connect the power supply to the receiver and a power outlet. If using multiple receivers, connect them via Ethernet cables for network control.

Connecting Multiple Receivers
For systems with three or more receivers, connect them using an Ethernet network switch. This allows for centralized control and frequency coordination across all units.

Syncing Transmitters
After setting up the receiver, you need to sync your transmitters. Turn on the receiver and navigate to the frequency setup menu. Select the guided frequency setup option. Turn on the transmitter you wish to sync. Align the IR ports on both the receiver and the transmitter, then press the sync button on the receiver. The system will automatically find and assign an open frequency.

Operating Instructions
Basic Operation
Once synced, the receiver will display the active channel and frequency. Adjust the gain settings on the receiver to ensure optimal audio levels without clipping. The SLXD4D receiver provides clear 24-bit digital audio, ensuring high-fidelity sound for your applications.
Locking and Unlocking Controls
To prevent accidental changes to settings during operation, you can lock the receiver's controls. Navigate to the Advanced Settings menu on the receiver and select 'Device Lock'. You can choose to lock the menu only or both the menu and power functions. To unlock, follow the reverse procedure or press specific button combinations as prompted on the display.

Battery Information
The SLXD4D receiver requires 2 AA batteries (included). For optimal performance and longevity, consider using Shure's rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries (sold separately) which offer up to 9 hours of run time and provide detailed battery life and health information.

Regularly inspect all cables and connections for wear or damage. Keep the receiver and transmitters clean and free from dust and moisture. Store the equipment in a dry, cool place when not in use. Ensure batteries are charged or replaced as needed to maintain performance.
Troubleshooting
- No Audio: Check all cable connections, ensure the receiver and transmitter are powered on and synced, and verify gain settings.
- Interference/Dropouts: Perform an RF scan to find a clear frequency. Ensure the transmitter and receiver are within range and have a clear line of sight. Check for other wireless devices operating on similar frequencies.
- Low Battery Indication: Replace AA batteries or recharge Shure Lithium Ion batteries.
- Controls Locked: Follow the unlocking procedure described in the Operating Instructions section.
