1. Product Components

Before installation, please ensure all components are present in the package:

• 1 x Phone Holder (compatible with large phones/cases)
• 1 x Suction Cup Base (reusable and versatile)
• 1 x Air Vent Clip (fits vertical/horizontal vents)
• 1 x 3M Dashboard Pad (for dashboard mounting surface)
• 1 x UV Film (for windshield mounting)
• 1 x Manual (for correct installation)

2. Setup and Installation

The OQTIQ 3-in-1 Car Phone Mount offers three installation options: dashboard, windshield, and air vent.

2.1 Suction Cup Installation (Dashboard or Windshield)

1. Choose a Location: Select a flat, smooth surface on your dashboard or windshield that does not obstruct your view or interfere with airbags.
2. Clean the Surface: Thoroughly clean the chosen area with an alcohol wipe and let it dry completely.
3. Apply UV Film (Windshield Only): If mounting on the windshield, peel off the protective film from the included UV reflective film and apply it to the desired spot on the windshield. This helps prevent suction cup melting from direct sunlight.

4. Apply 3M Dashboard Pad (Dashboard Only, if needed): If your dashboard surface is textured or slightly curved and the suction cup cannot adhere firmly, use the 3M dashboard pad. Peel off the protective backing and firmly press the pad onto the dashboard. Wait 24 hours before attaching the suction cup to the pad for optimal adhesion. Do not use the 3M dashboard pad on glass, windshield, or window surfaces. It is also unsuitable for leather or soft material dashboards.

5. Attach the Suction Cup: Remove the protective film from the suction cup. Press the suction cup firmly against the cleaned surface (or 3M pad) and push down the locking lever to create a vacuum seal.

6. Adjust the Arm: The telescopic arm extends from 4.2" to 5.8". Loosen the knob on the arm to extend or retract it, then tighten the knob to secure the length.

2.2 Air Vent Clip Installation

1. Attach the Clip: Insert the ball joint of the air vent clip into the socket on the back of the phone holder until it clicks into place. Tighten the collar nut.
2. Secure to Vent: Carefully attach the air vent clip to one of your car's air conditioning vents. Ensure it is securely fastened and does not block airflow excessively. This method is ideal for rental cars or temporary use.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Inserting Your Phone

• Gently press the side arms of the phone holder inwards to open the clamps.
• Place your smartphone into the holder. The bottom tray will support the phone, and the side arms will automatically close to secure it.
• Ensure your phone is centered and held firmly. The holder is designed for one-hand operation.

3.2 Removing Your Phone

• Press the quick-release button located on the top back of the holder.
• The side arms will automatically open, allowing you to safely remove your phone with one hand.

3.3 Adjusting Viewing Angle

• Rotation: The 360° rotatable ball joint allows you to easily switch between portrait and landscape modes. Loosen the collar nut behind the phone holder, adjust to your desired angle, and then tighten the nut to secure.
• Arm Angle: The arm can be adjusted up or down to achieve your preferred viewing height and distance. Loosen the pivot knob, adjust, and tighten.

4. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your OQTIQ Car Phone Mount, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning the Suction Cup: If the suction cup loses its stickiness, rinse it with warm water and let it air dry completely. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• General Cleaning: Wipe the mount's body with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and grime. Avoid submerging any part of the mount in water.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the mount in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

5. Troubleshooting

• Suction Cup Not Sticking:
  • Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and flat.
  • Rinse the suction cup with water and air dry to restore stickiness.
  • For textured dashboards, use the included 3M dashboard pad. Ensure the pad is applied to a large, flat, and smooth area for optimal adhesion.
  • Note: The 3M dashboard pad is not suitable for leather or soft material dashboards.
• Mount Feels Loose:
  • Check that the suction cup locking lever is fully engaged.
  • Ensure all adjustment knobs (for arm length and ball joint rotation) are tightened securely.
• Phone Holder Arms Not Opening/Closing Smoothly:
  • Check for any obstructions in the mechanism.
  • Ensure the quick-release button is pressed fully.
