2. Important Safety Instructions

- Use only a 5V 2A USB adapter (not included) to power the charger. Do not use a 1.0A adapter.
- Charge only Ni-MH or Ni-CD rechargeable batteries. Do not attempt to charge alkaline, carbon-zinc, or any other non-rechargeable battery types.

5. Setup
- Connect the Charger: Insert the USB charging cable into the charger's USB input port.
- Power Source: Connect the other end of the USB cable to a 5V 2A USB power adapter (not included). Ensure the adapter provides 2A output for optimal charging speed.
- Initial Power-On: Once connected, the LED indicators on the charger will briefly light up, indicating it is ready for use.
6. Operating Instructions
- Insert Batteries: Place 1 to 8 AA or AAA Ni-MH/Ni-CD rechargeable batteries into the charging slots. Ensure correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated on the charger.
- Charging Process:
- When batteries are correctly inserted, the corresponding LED indicator will light up RED, indicating that charging is in progress.
- Once a battery is fully charged, its LED indicator will turn GREEN.
- Error Detection: If a non-rechargeable or defective battery is inserted, or if there is a short-circuit, the LED will flash RED for 1 second and then turn off. Remove the problematic battery immediately.
- Remove Batteries: Once charging is complete (LED is green), carefully remove the batteries from the charger.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the charger from the power source before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the charger. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the charger and batteries in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Storage: Use the provided battery storage cases to protect batteries when not in use.
8. Troubleshooting
