2. Safety Information

4. Product Overview: Controls and Connections

4.1. Input Section

• XLR/Line Inputs: Combination jacks for microphones (XLR) or line-level instruments (1/4" TRS/TS).

5. Setup

5.1. Initial Placement and Power Connection

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Powering On/Off

1. Ensure all volume controls (channel faders, main mix fader) are at their minimum before powering on.
2. Flip the power switch on the rear panel to the 'ON' position.
3. When powering off, first lower all volume controls, then flip the power switch to 'OFF'.

6.2. Adjusting Input Levels

1. Speak or play into the connected microphone/instrument.
2. Slowly increase the GAIN control for the respective channel until the signal peak LED occasionally flashes. Avoid constant illumination, which indicates clipping.
3. Gradually raise the channel fader to the desired listening level.

6.3. Using the Equalizer (EQ)

Each channel features High and Low EQ controls. Turn the knob clockwise to boost frequencies or counter-clockwise to cut them. Use these controls to shape the tone of your audio source, making it brighter or warmer as needed.

6.4. Main Mix Adjustment

After setting individual channel levels, slowly raise the MAIN MIX fader to achieve the desired overall output volume for your main speakers. Use the level meters to monitor the output level, ensuring it does not consistently peak into the red.

7. DSP Effects

The Club XS 6+ features a built-in Digital Signal Processor (DSP) with various effects to enhance your sound.

1. Select Effect: Use the DSP PROGRAM knob to cycle through the available effects (e.g., Small Hall, Room, Plate, Delay, Chorus, Flanger, Reverb, Vocal Echo). The selected effect number will be displayed.
2. Apply Effect: Use the DSP LEVEL control to adjust the amount of the selected effect that is blended into the main mix.

8. USB/MP3 Player

The integrated USB/MP3 player allows you to play audio files directly from a USB flash drive.

1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port.
2. The display will show track information. Use the control buttons (Play/Pause, Skip) to navigate and play tracks.
3. Adjust the USB/MP3 player's volume using its dedicated level control on the mixer.

9. Bluetooth Connectivity

Connect your Bluetooth-enabled device to the mixer for wireless audio streaming.

1. Ensure the mixer's Bluetooth function is active (refer to the USB/MP3 player section for mode selection). The Bluetooth indicator should be blinking.
2. On your mobile device, search for available Bluetooth devices and select "Studiomaster Club XS 6+" (or similar name).
3. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator will become solid. You can now stream audio from your device to the mixer.
4. Adjust the Bluetooth audio level using the USB/MP3 player's volume control on the mixer.
