Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels from the air fryer and its accessories.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. Wash the wire mesh baking racks, kabob skewers, rotisserie spit, and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate space (at least 6 inches) around the back and sides for proper air circulation. Do not place it directly against a wall or under cabinets.
- Power Connection: Plug the 2-blade polarized plug into a 120V household electrical outlet.
- First Use (Burn-Off): It is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 350°F (175°C) during its first use. This helps to burn off any manufacturing residues and eliminate initial odors. A slight odor or smoke is normal during this process. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.

Cooking Tips
- Preheating: For best results, preheat the air fryer for 3-5 minutes before adding food.
- Oil Usage: While air frying requires little to no oil, a light spray or toss with oil can enhance crispiness and flavor for some foods.
- Don't Overcrowd: Avoid overcrowding the racks. Cook in batches if necessary to ensure even cooking and crisping.
- Shake/Flip: For even cooking, shake or flip smaller items (like fries or chicken wings) halfway through the cooking time.
- Check Doneness: Always ensure food is cooked to safe internal temperatures.
- Dehydrating: For dehydrating, ensure food is cut into uniform, thin slices for consistent results.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your air fryer.
- Always Unplug: Before cleaning, always unplug the air fryer from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely.
- Accessories: The wire mesh baking racks, kabob skewers, rotisserie spit, and drip tray are all dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning. For stubborn residue, soak them in warm, soapy water before washing.
- Interior: Wipe the interior of the air fryer with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For baked-on food, a non-abrasive sponge can be used. Ensure the interior is completely dry before next use.
- Exterior: Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the finish.
- Storage: Store the air fryer in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your air fryer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Air fryer does not turn on. | Not plugged in; Power outlet malfunction; Unit not properly reset. | Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working 120V outlet. Try a different outlet. Unplug for 5 minutes and plug back in. |
| Food is not cooked evenly. | Too much food in the basket; Temperature or time settings incorrect. | Cook food in smaller batches. Shake or flip food halfway through cooking. Adjust temperature and time as needed. |
| White smoke coming from the air fryer. | Grease residue from previous use; Fatty foods cooking. | Clean the drip tray and interior thoroughly after each use. For fatty foods, add a small amount of water to the drip tray to prevent smoke. |
