Operating Instructions

Your Vacmaster Canister Vacuum is designed for ease of use. Follow these guidelines for optimal cleaning performance:

1. Power On/Off: Locate the power button on the main unit. Press it once to turn the vacuum on, and press it again to turn it off.
2. Suction Control: The hose handle features a suction control slider. Adjust this slider to increase or decrease suction power as needed for different cleaning tasks and surfaces.
3. Floor Type Selection: The floor nozzle has a selector switch (often a pedal or lever) to switch between hard floor and carpet modes. 4. Using Accessories:

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum cleaner.

1. Emptying the Dust Cup:

   The 2.5L dust cup should be emptied regularly, ideally after each use or when the debris reaches the 'MAX' fill line. To empty:

   • Ensure the vacuum is turned off and unplugged.
   • Press the dust cup release button (usually located near the handle or top of the unit) to detach the dust cup from the main body.
   • Position the dust cup over a trash bin and press the quick dust release button (often on the bottom of the cup) to open the flap and release debris.
   • Close the flap securely and reattach the dust cup to the vacuum unit until it clicks into place.

2. Cleaning the Washable HEPA Filter:

   The HEPA filter should be cleaned periodically to maintain suction power and air filtration efficiency. It is washable for less frequent replacements.

   • Carefully remove the HEPA filter from its housing within the dust cup assembly.
   • Rinse the filter under cool, running water until the water runs clear. Do not use detergent or hot water.

3. Automatic Cord Rewind:
