2. Safety Information and Precautions

  • Power Supply: Ensure the machine is connected to a 110V/60HZ power supply.
  • Vacuum Oil: The machine does not come with vacuum oil. Please purchase 46 hydraulic oil separately and ensure the vacuum pump oil level is maintained at 1/2 of the standard oil level line before operation.
  • Lid Closure: When starting the machine, it is crucial to press the vacuum cover down firmly and tightly. Failure to do so may result in incomplete vacuuming, leading to sparks or smoke from the heating wire. Operating the machine without proper lid closure is at your own risk.
  • Time Settings: Do not confuse the time settings for sealing and vacuuming. Setting the sealing time too long can cause sparks on both sides of the heating wire. Always refer to the recommended settings in the operating instructions.
  • Supervision: Do not leave the machine unattended during operation.
  • Cleaning: Always unplug the machine before cleaning. Do not immerse the machine in water or any other liquid.

3. Setup and Initial Preparation

3.1. New Machine Boot Preparation

  1. Check Vacuum Pump Oil Level: Before the first use, or if the machine has been stored for a long time, check the vacuum pump oil level. The standard oil level line is at 1/2. If the oil level is too low, refill with 46 hydraulic oil.
  2. Placement: Place the vacuum sealer on a stable, flat, and dry surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the machine.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to a grounded 110V/60HZ electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to operate your DONSU DZ-320C 800W Desktop Vacuum Sealer:

  1. Set Vacuuming Time: Initially, set the vacuuming time to 30 seconds. Adjust this time based on the specific vacuum effect required for your product.
  2. Set Sealing Time: Begin by setting the sealing time to 2 seconds. If you are using a thicker vacuum bag, increase the sealing time as needed to ensure a strong seal.
  3. Set Cooling Time: Set the cooling time to 2 seconds. This allows the sealing bar to cool down properly after sealing.
  4. Place Item: Place the item to be sealed inside a suitable vacuum bag and position the open end of the bag across the sealing bar within the vacuum chamber. Ensure the bag is flat and free of wrinkles in the sealing area.
  5. Close and Start: Close the vacuum cover. Press the vacuum cover down manually and firmly. Then, press the start button. Once the vacuum table begins running, you may release your hand from the cover. The machine will automatically proceed with the vacuuming and sealing process.
  6. Monitor Vacuum Level: The vacuum table will indicate the current vacuum level. When the vacuum table reaches the green area (0.06-0.08Mpa), it signifies that the vacuuming process is complete.
  7. Completion: The machine will automatically release the vacuum and open the lid once the cycle is finished. Carefully remove your sealed product.

4.1. Tips for Best Results

  • For moist foods, consider pre-freezing liquids or using a paper towel to absorb excess moisture near the seal area.
  • Ensure the vacuum bag is clean and dry around the sealing area for an optimal seal.
  • Do not overfill bags; leave at least 3-4 inches of space between the contents and the top of the bag for proper sealing.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your vacuum sealer.

  • Cleaning the Chamber: After each use, especially if sealing moist foods, wipe down the vacuum chamber and sealing bar with a damp cloth. Ensure no food particles or liquids remain.
  • Checking Vacuum Oil: Periodically check the vacuum pump oil level. If it falls below the 1/2 mark, refill with 46 hydraulic oil. Refer to the setup section for initial oil level check.
  • Sealing Wire Replacement: The sealing heating wire is designed for easy replacement. If the sealing performance degrades or the wire is damaged, replace it according to the manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Clean the stainless steel exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface.
  • Storage: Store the machine in a clean, dry place when not in use.
