6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your shower system.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Low Water Pressure | Clogged nozzles; partially closed shut-off valves; debris in water lines. | Clean showerhead/handshower nozzles using QuickClean. Ensure all shut-off valves are fully open. Consult a plumber if debris is suspected in water lines. |
| Inconsistent Water Temperature | Thermostatic cartridge issue; inadequate hot water supply; pressure imbalance. | Verify hot water heater settings. Ensure consistent water pressure to the shower. If the issue persists, the thermostatic cartridge may need inspection or replacement by a qualified professional. |
| Leaks from Connections | Loose connections; damaged seals/gaskets. | Carefully check all connections for tightness. Do not overtighten. Inspect seals and gaskets for damage and replace if necessary. |
| Difficulty Switching Spray Modes | Mineral buildup in the handshower mechanism. | Clean the handshower thoroughly, especially around the 'Select' button and spray plate, to remove any mineral deposits. |
If you are unable to resolve an issue using the troubleshooting steps above, please contact hansgrohe customer support or a qualified plumber.
