4. Awning Assembly

This section details the step-by-step assembly of the awning components. It is recommended to have two adults for this process.

4.2. Connecting Roller Tubes (Video: 0:21 - 0:38)

Connect the roller tube sections (A-1, A-2, A-3) using the provided connectors and secure them with screws (A-A-1). Ensure all connections are firm.

Assemble the front bar sections (C-1, C-2, C-3) by sliding them together and securing with the square nuts (U) and screws (A-A-1).

4.4. Connecting Torsion Bars and Arms (Video: 0:59 - 1:28)

Connect the torsion bars (B-1, B-2, B-3) with the left arm (L-1) and right arm (L-2). Important: Do not remove the safety wrap that holds the arms down until instructed. Ensure correct armrest direction to prevent damage.

• Insert the torsion bar (B-1) into the left arm (L-1) with a distance of approximately 15.74 inches (40 cm).
• Insert the torsion bar (B-3) into the right arm (L-2) with a distance of approximately 14.17 inches (36 cm).

Ensure the pole (V) is positioned approximately 7 inches from the armrest side on both sides.

Two adults are required for this step. The fabric (M) has a front and a back side; the back side has a hem and should face downwards. Carefully slide the fabric support rods (N) into the designated channels of the fabric and then into the roller and front bars.

Attach the roller support components (Q, P, N-1, N-2) to the front bar and roller tube. Ensure the plastic washer (F) is installed. Do not fully tighten the screw nuts, leaving about 0.5 inches space in between, as shown in the video.

5. Wall Mounting

5.1. Determine Mounting Location

The recommended installation height is between 8 and 13 feet. Use a level to draw a horizontal line where the top of the wall brackets will be placed.

• Using a 0.55-inch (14mm) masonry drill bit, drill the first bolt hole approximately 4 inches deep.

Turn the crank handle (T) counter-clockwise to retract the awning. Ensure the awning is fully retracted when not in use or during adverse weather conditions.
