Setup
1. Transmitter Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the DX3 transmitter.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert four (4) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Receiver Installation (SR315)
- Mount the SR315 receiver securely in your RC vehicle, away from any potential interference sources like motors or ESCs.
- Connect the steering servo to the "STR" port on the receiver.
- Connect the Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) to the "THR" port on the receiver.
- If applicable, connect any auxiliary components (e.g., lights, winches) to the "AUX1" port.
- Ensure all connections are firm and correctly oriented.
3. Binding the Transmitter and Receiver
Binding is the process of linking the transmitter and receiver. This must be done for the first use and if the receiver is replaced.

- Steering Wheel: Controls the direction of the vehicle. Turn left or right.
- Throttle Trigger: Controls the speed and direction (forward/reverse) of the vehicle. Pull for forward, push for reverse/brake.
- ST Trim (Steering Trim): Adjusts the neutral position of the steering servo. Use to make the vehicle drive straight when the steering wheel is centered.
- TH Trim (Throttle Trim): Adjusts the neutral position of the throttle. Use to prevent the vehicle from moving when the throttle trigger is centered.
- Brake Rate: Adjusts the braking intensity.
- ST Rate (Steering Rate): Adjusts the maximum steering angle.
- TH Limit (Throttle Limit): A 3-position switch (50/75/100) to limit the maximum throttle output, useful for beginners or in confined spaces.
- Smart Battery Level Indicator: LEDs on the transmitter indicate the approximate charge level of a connected Spektrum Smart battery in the vehicle.
- Power Button: Turns the transmitter ON/OFF.
