Setup

Placement

Place the microwave oven on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food item likely to be cooked in it. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Do not block air vents. Maintain a minimum clearance of 4 inches (10 cm) from the rear and sides, and 8 inches (20 cm) from the top of the oven to allow for proper airflow.

Turntable Installation

Before first use, ensure the glass turntable and turntable ring assembly are correctly placed inside the oven cavity. The turntable should sit securely on the central hub and rotate freely.

Power Connection

Plug the microwave oven into a grounded 120V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet. The cord length is approximately 59 inches. Do not use an extension cord unless absolutely necessary, and ensure it is a grounded 3-prong cord with a rating equal to or greater than the appliance.

Operating Instructions

Basic Operation (Time Cook)

  1. Place food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable.
  2. Close the microwave door securely.
  3. Press the Time Cook button.
  4. Use the number pad to enter the desired cooking time.
  5. Press the Power button to select a power level (1-10). The default is 10 (full power).
  6. Press START/+30SEC to begin cooking.

Auto Cook Options

The microwave features 6 convenient auto cook options for common food items:

  • Popcorn: For pre-packaged microwave popcorn.
  • Potato: For baking potatoes.
  • Pizza: For reheating pizza slices.
  • Frozen Vegetable: For cooking frozen vegetables.
  • Beverage: For heating drinks like coffee or tea.
  • Dinner Plate: For reheating a full dinner plate.

To use, simply press the corresponding auto cook button. The microwave will automatically set the optimal cooking time and power level. Press START/+30SEC to begin.

Express Cook

For quick cooking, press any number button (1-6) to instantly start cooking at full power for that many minutes. For example, pressing 1 will start cooking for 1 minute.

Add 30 Seconds

During cooking, press the START/+30SEC button to add 30 seconds to the current cooking time. This can also be used to start cooking for 30 seconds at full power when the oven is in standby mode.

Auto Defrost Options

The microwave offers two defrost methods:

  • Time Defrost: Press Time Defrost, then enter the desired defrosting time using the number pad.
  • Weight Defrost: Press Weight Defrost, then enter the weight of the food in ounces or grams using the number pad.

Press START/+30SEC to begin the defrost cycle.

Child/Control Lock Out Option

To prevent unintended operation, you can lock the control panel. Press and hold the STOP/Cancel button for 3 seconds until a beep sounds and the lock indicator appears on the display. To unlock, press and hold the STOP/Cancel button again for 3 seconds.

Maintenance and Cleaning

General Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain the performance and appearance of your microwave. Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

  • For stubborn stains inside the oven, place a bowl of water with a few lemon slices inside and microwave on high for 2-3 minutes. The steam will loosen food particles.
  • Clean the door seals and adjacent parts thoroughly to ensure proper door closure.

Turntable Care

The glass turntable and turntable ring can be removed for cleaning. Wash them in warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher. Ensure they are completely dry before placing them back into the oven.
