Setup
Follow these steps to set up your food processor for first-time use or after cleaning:
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Wash Parts: Wash the work bowl, lid, S-blade, and reversible disc in warm, soapy water or place them in the dishwasher. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Assemble Work Bowl: Place the work bowl onto the motor base, ensuring it is securely seated and locked into position.
- Attach Blade/Disc: Carefully place the desired blade (S-blade for chopping/mixing or reversible disc for slicing/shredding) onto the center post of the work bowl.
- Secure Lid: Place the lid onto the work bowl and twist clockwise until it locks into place. The safety lock mechanism will prevent operation if the lid is not properly secured.
- Plug In: Connect the power cord to a standard electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
General Operation
Before operating, ensure the food processor is correctly assembled and the lid is securely locked. The safety lock prevents the motor from starting if components are not properly aligned.
Chopping (using S-Blade)
- Place the S-blade onto the center post of the work bowl.
- Add ingredients to the work bowl. Do not overfill beyond the maximum fill line.
- Secure the lid and ensure it is locked.
- Press and hold the 'Pulse' button for short bursts until desired consistency is achieved. For continuous operation, press the 'On' button.
- Once processing is complete, release the button, unplug the unit, and carefully remove the lid and S-blade before emptying the work bowl.
Slicing and Shredding (using Reversible Disc)
- Place the reversible disc onto the center post of the work bowl, ensuring the desired side (slicing or shredding) is facing up.
- Secure the lid and ensure it is locked.
- Turn on the food processor.
- Place ingredients into the feed chute and use the food pusher to guide them through the disc. Apply gentle, even pressure.
- Once processing is complete, turn off the unit, unplug, and carefully remove the lid and disc before emptying the work bowl.
Mixing (using S-Blade)
- Place the S-blade onto the center post of the work bowl.
- Add ingredients to the work bowl.
- Secure the lid and ensure it is locked.
- Use the 'Pulse' button for quick mixing or the 'On' button for continuous blending until ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Once mixing is complete, release the button, unplug the unit, and carefully remove the lid and S-blade before emptying the work bowl.
