Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps for proper assembly. Two people are recommended for certain steps.
- Prepare the Base: Place the cross base in the desired location. This umbrella requires a separate weighted base (e.g., sand/water filled weights) to be placed on the cross base for stability. Ensure the base is stable and level.
- Attach Main Pole: Secure the main aluminum pole to the cross base using the provided hardware. Ensure all bolts are tightened securely.
- Install Cantilever Arm: Attach the cantilever arm to the main pole. This step may require assistance to align and secure properly.
- Mount Umbrella Canopy: Carefully lift and attach the umbrella canopy to the cantilever arm. The canopy features an innovative zipper design at the four corners for easy installation.
- Crank Handle Assembly: Ensure the crank handle is securely attached and functions smoothly for opening and closing the canopy.

Operating Instructions
This umbrella offers versatile adjustments for optimal shade.
- Opening the Canopy: Use the crank handle to smoothly open the umbrella canopy. Continue cranking until the canopy is fully extended and taut.
- Closing the Canopy: Turn the crank handle in the opposite direction to retract the canopy. Once fully closed, secure it with the integrated strap to prevent it from unfurling in the wind.
- 360° Rotation: To rotate the umbrella, step on the foot pedal located at the base of the main pole. While holding the pedal down, gently twist the main pole to rotate the umbrella to the desired position. Release the pedal to lock it in place.
- Adjustable Tilt: The umbrella features a 4-level adjustable tilt system. Use the handle on the cantilever arm to adjust the angle of the canopy, allowing you to block the sun at different times of the day.

Maintenance and Care
Proper maintenance will extend the life of your umbrella.
- Cleaning the Canopy: Clean the polyester canopy with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before closing or storing. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Frame Care: The aluminum frame is powder-coated for rust and corrosion resistance. Wipe down with a damp cloth as needed.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, or during severe weather, close the umbrella and cover it with a protective cover (sold separately). Store in a dry, sheltered area during off-season.
- Inspection: Periodically check all bolts and connections to ensure they are tight.

Troubleshooting
