1. Introduction

The WAVLINK UTD23H Aluminium Thunderbolt 3 Docking Station provides a powerful expansion for your Thunderbolt 3-enabled Mac or compatible Windows Thunderbolt 3 system. It delivers up to 60W of power to charge the host device. Connect two displays with up to 4K 60Hz (4096 × 2160 @60Hz) via the built-in dual DisplayPort outputs. With Thunderbolt 3 bandwidth of 40 Gbit/s, you can power your docked high-resolution displays with the full native performance of your system's graphics processor, while also accessing your wired network and existing USB peripherals.

3. Product Overview

4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your WAVLINK Thunderbolt 3 Dock Pro:

1. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet and then connect the DC 20V plug to the power input port on the back of the docking station.
2. Connect to Host Computer: Use the provided Thunderbolt 3 cable to connect the Thunderbolt 3 port on the front of the docking station to a Thunderbolt 3 port on your laptop or computer. Ensure your computer has a Thunderbolt 3 port for full functionality.
3. Connect Displays: Connect your external monitors to the DisplayPort outputs on the back of the docking station using DisplayPort cables. For HDMI monitors, a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter (not included) will be required.

5. Operating Instructions

Power Management:

• The docking station provides up to 60W of power delivery to charge your connected laptop via the Thunderbolt 3 cable.
• Use the power button on the dock to turn it on or off.

Display Configuration:

• Once connected, your operating system (Windows or macOS) should automatically detect the external displays.
• To configure display settings (e.g., extend, duplicate, resolution), navigate to your computer's display settings:
  • Windows: Right-click on the desktop > Display settings.
  • macOS: System Settings (or System Preferences) > Displays.
