5. Setup and Initial Use
5.1 Charging the Power Bank
Before first use, fully charge your Mobility Lab Power Bank. Use the included charging cable (Micro USB or USB-C) to connect the power bank to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- Connect the small end of the charging cable to the Micro USB or USB-C input port on the power bank.
- Connect the standard USB end of the cable to a USB wall charger or a powered USB port.
- The LED indicators will light up to show the charging progress. A full charge takes approximately 12 hours.
- Once fully charged, all LED indicators will remain solid. Disconnect the power bank from the charging source.
5.2 Checking Battery Level
Press the power button briefly to check the remaining battery level. The LED indicators will illuminate:
- 4 LEDs: 75-100% charged
- 3 LEDs: 50-75% charged
- 2 LEDs: 25-50% charged
- 1 LED: 0-25% charged (recharge soon)
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Charging Devices via USB Cable
To charge your device using a USB cable:
- Connect your device's charging cable to one of the USB output ports on the power bank.
- Connect the other end of the cable to your device.
- The power bank will automatically begin charging your device. If not, briefly press the power button on the power bank.
- Once your device is fully charged, disconnect it from the power bank.
6.2 Wireless Charging
To charge your device wirelessly:
- Ensure your device is compatible with Qi wireless charging.
- Place your device centrally on the wireless charging symbol located on the power bank's surface.
- The power bank will automatically detect your device and begin wireless charging.
- Remove your device once charging is complete.
Note: For optimal wireless charging, ensure no metal objects or thick cases are between your device and the power bank.
7. Maintenance and Care
- Keep the power bank away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures (hot or cold).
- Do not drop, disassemble, or attempt to repair the power bank yourself.
- Clean the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Store the power bank in a cool, dry place when not in use. For long-term storage, charge it to about 50% every three months to preserve battery life.
8. Troubleshooting
8.1 Power Bank Not Charging
- Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the power bank and the power source.
- Try a different USB wall adapter or USB port.
- Verify the charging cable is not damaged.
8.2 Device Not Charging from Power Bank
- Check if the power bank has sufficient charge (refer to Section 5.2).
- Ensure the charging cable connecting your device to the power bank is functional and properly connected.
- Briefly press the power button on the power bank to activate charging.
- Try a different USB port on the power bank.
8.3 Wireless Charging Not Working
- Ensure your device supports Qi wireless charging.
- Make sure your device is placed centrally on the wireless charging symbol.
- Remove any thick cases or metallic objects from your device that might interfere with wireless charging.
- Check if the power bank has sufficient charge.
