4. Setup and First Use
4.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove all packaging materials.
- Check that all components are present and undamaged.
- Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.
4.2 Initial Cleaning
- Wash the water tank, milk tank, filter holder, and filters with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
4.3 Filling the Water Tank
- Remove the 1.7L water tank from the back of the machine.
- Fill the tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX level indicator.
- Place the water tank back securely into its position.
4.4 Priming the Machine

- Place a large cup under the coffee outlet.
- Press the power button to turn on the machine. The indicator lights will flash as the machine heats up.
- Once the lights are steady, press the button for a large coffee (e.g., Lungo) to run water through the system without coffee. Repeat this process 2-3 times to clean and prime the internal components.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Preparing Espresso with Ground Coffee
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Insert the appropriate filter for ground coffee into the filter holder.
- Add ground coffee using the measuring spoon. For a single espresso, use one level spoon (approx. 7g). For a double espresso, use two level spoons (approx. 14g).
- Lightly tamp the coffee grounds with the tamper end of the spoon.
- Attach the filter holder securely to the brewing head.
- Place one or two cups under the filter holder outlets.
- Press the desired coffee button (e.g., single espresso or double espresso). The machine will brew and stop automatically.

5.2 Preparing Coffee with Capsules
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Insert the appropriate filter for capsules into the filter holder.
- Place a coffee capsule into the filter.
- Attach the filter holder securely to the brewing head.
- Place a cup under the filter holder outlet.
- Press the desired coffee button. The machine will brew and stop automatically.
5.3 Using the Instant Cappuccino System (Milk Frothing)
- Fill the Full-Milk tank with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) up to the desired level.
- Ensure the milk tank is securely attached to the machine.
- Position the milk frother nozzle over your cup.
- Prepare your coffee as described in sections 5.1 or 5.2.
- After brewing the coffee, select the cappuccino or latte button. The machine will automatically dispense frothed milk into your cup.

5.4 Hot Water Function
- Place a cup under the steam/hot water nozzle.
- Press the hot water button (if available on your model's control panel) or turn the steam knob to the hot water position.

- Turn the knob back or press the button again to stop.
