4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Mounting Options

The fan supports dual mount installation, allowing for flat or angled ceilings up to 23 degrees. Ensure the outlet box is securely fastened to the building structure and can support the fan's weight (approximately 31.1 pounds).

4.2 Wiring

Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring according to the provided wiring diagram in the installation manual. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated with wire nuts.

4.3 Blade Attachment

Attach the five ABS blades to the motor assembly using the provided screws. Ensure all blades are securely fastened to prevent wobbling during operation.

5. Operation

Your Craftmade Garrick ceiling fan can be operated using the included handheld remote control or the wall control unit.

5.1 Remote Control Functions

• Fan Speed Control: Adjusts fan speed through 3 available levels (low, medium, high).
• Light On/Off: Toggles the LED light kit on or off.
• Light Dimming: Press and hold the light button to dim or brighten the LED light.
• Reverse Function: Changes the direction of blade rotation for seasonal use (downward airflow for cooling, upward airflow for heat distribution).

The wall control provides similar functionality to the handheld remote, allowing for convenient operation from a fixed location.

5.3 Initial Power-Up
