Refer to the detailed user manual for specific cleaning and oiling instructions.

4. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your SINGER M1500, consider the following common troubleshooting tips:

  • Bobbin Jamming: A common issue reported by some users is the bobbin mechanism jamming. This is often caused by incorrect threading of the machine or improper bobbin insertion. Ensure you follow the threading guides precisely and that the bobbin is seated correctly in its case.
  • Skipped Stitches: Check that the needle is inserted correctly and is not bent or dull. Ensure the machine is threaded properly, both the upper thread and the bobbin thread.
  • Thread Breaking: Verify that the thread tension is set appropriately for your fabric. Inspect the thread path for any snags or obstructions. Use good quality thread.

For more detailed troubleshooting, consult the official user manual or SINGER's online support resources.
