The backrest can be reclined from 90 degrees (upright for work) to 180 degrees (fully flat for resting). Locate the recline lever on the left side of the seat. Pull the lever up and lean back to recline, or lean forward and pull the lever up to bring the backrest upright. Release the lever to lock it in place.
