Setup and Programming
1. Battery Installation
Before first use, install two AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control. Ensure correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the battery compartment.
2. Device Programming (Direct Code Entry)
To program your remote using direct code entry, follow these steps:
- Locate the Remote Code List included with your remote.
- Press and hold the remote's SETUP button until the remote's red light turns on, then release.
- Press and release the device button (e.g., TV, STR, AUD) for the item you want to control.
- Using the remote's number buttons, enter the first 4-digit code from the code list for your device's brand.
- Point the remote at the device and test its functions (e.g., Power, Volume, Channel).
- If the device responds as expected, programming is complete. If not, repeat steps 2-5 with the next code listed for your brand until a working code is found.

- Press and release the device button (e.g., TV, STR, AUD) you want to program.

- Once the device turns off, press the SETUP button to lock in the code.
