Setup
1. Setting the Time:
- Pull the crown out to the second click position (farthest out). The second hand will stop.
- Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands to the desired time. Ensure the AM/PM is correctly set if the watch has a 24-hour cycle for the date change (the date will change around midnight).
- Push the crown back in to the normal position to start timekeeping.
2. Setting the Day and Date:
- Pull the crown out to the first click position.
- Rotate the crown clockwise to adjust the date.
- Rotate the crown counter-clockwise to adjust the day of the week.
- Once the correct day and date are set, push the crown back in to the normal position.
Note: Avoid setting the date between 9:00 PM and 4:00 AM, as this may interfere with the automatic date change mechanism and cause damage. If you need to set the date during this period, first advance the time past 4:00 AM, set the date, and then reset the time.
3. Adjusting the Bracelet:
The stainless steel bracelet can be adjusted for a comfortable fit. This typically involves removing or adding links. For precise adjustment, it is recommended to visit a professional jeweler or watch repair service. Some clasps also allow for micro-adjustments without removing links.

Operating the Watch
Once the time, day, and date are set, your Casio MTP-V006D-1B2 watch will operate continuously, displaying the current time, day of the week, and date. The quartz movement ensures high accuracy.
- The second hand moves in one-second intervals.
- The day and date displays will automatically advance at midnight.
Maintenance
Cleaning:
Wipe the watch case and band with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and moisture. For stainless steel bands, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using chemical cleaners or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch's finish.
Water Resistance:
This watch is water resistant to 30 meters (3 ATM). This means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for swimming, showering, or diving. Do not operate the crown while the watch is wet or submerged.
Battery Replacement:
The watch is powered by a Lithium Metal battery (included). When the watch stops or the second hand begins to move erratically (e.g., skipping seconds), it indicates a low battery. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance integrity.
Troubleshooting
Watch Not Running:
- Check the Crown: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in to the normal operating position.
- Battery: The battery may be depleted. Refer to the "Battery Replacement" section under Maintenance.
Incorrect Time/Day/Date:
- Reset: Follow the instructions in the "Setting the Time" and "Setting the Day and Date" sections under Setup.
- Day/Date Change Time: Ensure the time is set correctly for AM/PM, as the day/date changes around midnight.
Water Inside Watch:
If moisture appears inside the watch, immediately take it to a qualified watch technician for inspection and repair to prevent further damage.
