Setup

  1. Assemble the Stake: Attach the stake sections together and then to the timer unit.
  2. Placement: Insert the assembled stake firmly into the ground in your desired outdoor location. Ensure the timer unit is at least 1 foot above ground level and has direct access to sunlight if using light-sensing features.
  3. Initial Power Connection: Plug the timer's power cord into a GFCI-protected outdoor outlet. If the display is blank, allow the timer to charge for at least 30 minutes to power the internal battery.
  4. Reset the Timer: Using a small, non-metallic, insulated tool (like a pencil tip or toothpick), press the RESET button located on the control panel. The LCD display will illuminate and show "12:00 AM".
  5. Connect Devices: Plug your outdoor lights or appliances into the grounded outlets. Rotate the outlets as needed for optimal cord management. Close the protective covers over unused outlets.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting Day & Time

  1. Press and hold the CLOCK button.
  2. While holding CLOCK, press the WEEK button repeatedly until the desired day of the week appears at the top of the display.
  3. Continue holding CLOCK, and press the HOUR button repeatedly to set the current hour (AM/PM will adjust automatically).
  4. Still holding CLOCK, press the MIN button repeatedly to set the current minute.
  5. Release the CLOCK button to save the settings.

2. Setting Programs (ON/OFF Times)

The timer allows for two custom ON/OFF programs. Follow these steps for each program:

  1. Press the PROG button once. The display will show "1 ON" at the bottom left. This indicates you are setting the ON time for Program 1.
  2. Press the WEEK button repeatedly to select the desired day(s) for this program (e.g., MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU, or various combinations).
  3. Press the HOUR button to set the desired ON hour.
  4. Press the MIN button to set the desired ON minute.
  5. Press the PROG button again. The display will show "1 OFF". This indicates you are setting the OFF time for Program 1.
  6. Repeat steps 2-4 to set the desired OFF day(s), hour, and minute for Program 1.
  7. To set Program 2, press the PROG button again until "2 ON" appears, then repeat steps 2-6.
  8. After setting all desired programs, press the CLOCK button to return to the main screen.

To clear a program: While viewing the program (e.g., "1 ON" or "1 OFF"), press the R (Reset) button. Four dashes will appear, indicating the program is cleared. Press R again to reactivate it.
