Setup and Connectivity

1. Battery Installation

The Logitech Pebble M350 requires one AA battery. The battery compartment is located under the magnetic top cover of the mouse.

  1. Gently lift the magnetic top cover from the mouse.
  2. Insert one AA battery into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Replace the magnetic top cover, ensuring it snaps securely into place.

2. Connecting via USB Receiver

For a stable 2.4 GHz wireless connection, use the included USB receiver.

  1. Lift the magnetic top cover of the mouse.
  2. Remove the tiny USB receiver from its storage slot.
  3. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  4. Turn on the mouse using the On/Off switch located on the bottom. The LED indicator will show green for USB connection.
  5. Your computer should automatically detect the mouse.

3. Connecting via Bluetooth

For a cable-free connection, pair your mouse via Bluetooth.

  1. Turn on the mouse using the On/Off switch on the bottom.
  2. Press and hold the connectivity button on the bottom of the mouse until the LED indicator starts blinking blue. This indicates pairing mode.
  3. On your computer or device, navigate to Bluetooth settings and select "Logitech Pebble" from the list of available devices to pair.
  4. Once connected, the LED indicator will show a steady blue light.

Operating the Mouse

Basic Functions

  • Left Click: Primary action, selection.
  • Right Click: Secondary action, context menus.
  • Scroll Wheel: Scroll up or down through documents and web pages. The scroll wheel also functions as a middle click button.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To ensure optimal performance and longevity, keep your mouse clean.

  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the exterior of the mouse.
  • For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Periodically check the optical sensor on the bottom for dust or debris and clean gently if necessary.

Battery Replacement

When the battery is low, the LED indicator on the bottom of the mouse may blink red. Replace the AA battery as described in the "Battery Installation" section.

Troubleshooting

  • Mouse not responding:
    • Ensure the mouse is turned on.
    • Check the battery level and replace if necessary.
    • If using the USB receiver, ensure it is securely plugged into a working USB port. Try a different port.
    • If using Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the mouse is correctly paired. Try re-pairing the mouse.
  • Intermittent connection:
    • Move the mouse closer to your computer.
    • Avoid using the mouse on metallic surfaces, which can interfere with wireless signals.
    • Minimize interference from other wireless devices.
  • Cursor erratic or not moving smoothly:
    • Clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse.
