1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your Electrohome Kingston RR75B 7-in-1 Vintage Vinyl Record Player Stereo System. 2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Placement

  • Carefully remove the unit from its packaging.
  • Place the unit on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or moisture.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

2.2 Power Connection

  • Connect the power cord to the AC inlet on the back of the unit.
  • Plug the other end of the power cord into a standard AC wall outlet (120V ~ 60Hz).

3. Operating Instructions

The Electrohome Kingston RR75B offers multiple playback options. Use the Function knob or the remote control to select your desired source.

3.1 Turntable Operation

  1. Lift the dust cover.
  2. Place a vinyl record on the turntable platter.
  3. Select the appropriate speed (33, 45, or 78 RPM) using the speed selector switch. For 45 RPM records, place the included 45 RPM adapter on the center spindle.
  4. Release the tone arm lock.
  5. Gently lift the tone arm and position the stylus over the desired track of the record.
  6. Lower the tone arm slowly onto the record. Playback will begin automatically.
  7. At the end of the record, the tone arm will return to its rest position automatically.

3.2 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Turn on the unit and select the "Bluetooth" function using the Function knob or remote. The Bluetooth indicator will flash.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
  3. Search for "Electrohome Kingston" in your device's Bluetooth list and select it to pair.
  4. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing and remain solid. You can now stream audio from your device to the Kingston RR75B.

3.3 CD Player

  1. Select the "CD" function.
  2. Press the Eject button to open the CD tray.
  3. Place a CD with the label side facing up into the tray.
  4. Press the Eject button again to close the tray. The unit will read the CD and begin playback.
  5. Use the Skip/Track buttons to navigate between tracks and the Play/Pause button to control playback.

3.4 AM/FM Radio

  1. Select the "AM" or "FM" function.
  2. Use the Tuning knob to manually search for radio stations.
  3. Extend the FM wire antenna on the back of the unit for better reception.

3.5 Auxiliary Input (Aux In)

  1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX IN port on the front of the unit using a 3.5mm audio cable.
  2. Select the "AUX" function.
  3. Audio from your external device will now play through the Kingston RR75B speakers.

3.6 USB Playback and Recording

  1. USB Playback: Insert a USB drive containing MP3 files into the USB port. Select the "USB" function. The unit will automatically detect and play the MP3 files.
  2. Vinyl/CD to MP3 Recording:
    • Insert a USB drive into the USB port.
    • Select either the "PHONO" (turntable) or "CD" function.
    • Begin playing the vinyl record or CD you wish to record.
    • Press the "RECORD" button on the unit or remote control. The unit will begin recording the audio to the USB drive as MP3 files.
    • Press the "RECORD" button again to stop recording.

3.7 Headphone Output

  • Connect headphones with a 3.5mm jack to the HEADPHONE OUT port on the front of the unit for private listening.
  • The main speakers will be muted when headphones are connected.

3.8 RCA Output

  • Connect external powered speakers or an amplifier to the AUDIO OUT (RCA) ports on the back of the unit using RCA cables.
  • This allows for connection to a larger home audio system.

3.9 Remote Control

  • The included remote control allows for convenient operation of all functions from a distance.
  • Functions include power, source selection, volume control, track navigation, and EQ settings.
  • Ensure the batteries (2 AAA, included) are correctly installed.

4.1 Cleaning the Unit

  • Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth.

4.2 Stylus Care

  • The stylus (needle) is a delicate component. Handle with care.
