- Detach the grounds container from the bottom of the coffee mill.
- Locate the grind adjustment knob or ring, typically found at the bottom of the ceramic burr assembly.
- Rotate the adjustment mechanism clockwise for a finer grind and counter-clockwise for a coarser grind. Make small adjustments and test the grind.
- Reassemble the grounds container before use.
7. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your grinder.
- Disassembly: Separate the electric grinder unit, coffee mill, and grounds container.
- Handwash: The coffee mill and grounds container should be handwashed only. Use mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before reassembly.
- Electric Unit: Do not immerse the electric grinder unit in water. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
- Burrs: Use a brush to remove any residual coffee grounds from the ceramic burrs.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing.
8. Troubleshooting
- Grinder not turning on: Check if the battery is charged. Recharge the unit if necessary. Ensure the electric unit is securely attached to the coffee mill.
- Grinding is slow or inconsistent: Ensure the coffee beans are not oily or excessively hard. Check for any blockages in the burr assembly and clean if necessary. Verify the grind setting is appropriate for the beans.
- Unit stops during grinding: The battery may be low. Recharge the unit. Avoid overfilling the hopper, as this can strain the motor.
- Unusual noise during operation: Disassemble and check for foreign objects or misaligned parts. If the issue persists, discontinue use and contact customer support.
