5. Setup
5.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Retain the packaging materials for future transport or storage. Remove any protective films or covers from the unit.
5.2 Placement
Place the stereo system on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or moisture. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation.
5.3 Power Connection
Connect the AC power cord to the AC Power Input on the rear of the unit, then plug the other end into a standard wall outlet.
5.4 Antenna Setup
For optimal FM radio reception, connect the included FM wire antenna to the FM Antenna jack on the rear of the unit. Extend the wire fully and position it for the best signal.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off and Volume
- To turn the unit on or off, rotate the Power/Volume knob clockwise or counter-clockwise until it clicks.
- Adjust the volume by rotating the Power/Volume knob.
6.2 Source Selection
Press the 'Function' button repeatedly on the front panel or the 'Source' button on the remote control to cycle through the available audio sources: Phono (Vinyl), Bluetooth, CD, USB, AM, FM, and AUX.
6.3 Turntable Operation (Phono Mode)

- Lift the turntable lid.
- Place a record on the platter. If playing a 7-inch record with a large center hole, place the 45 RPM adapter on the spindle first.
- Select the appropriate speed (33, 45, or 78 RPM) using the speed selector switch.
- Push the Auto-Stop switch to ON if you want the platter to stop automatically at the end of the record.
- Gently release the tonearm lock.
- Lift the cue lever to raise the tonearm.
- Manually position the tonearm over the desired starting groove of the record.
- Lower the cue lever to gently place the stylus onto the record. Playback will begin.
- To stop playback, lift the cue lever, return the tonearm to its rest, and engage the tonearm lock.
6.4 Bluetooth Operation

- Select 'Bluetooth' mode using the Function button. The display will show 'BT' and flash, indicating it is searching for a device.
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
- Search for 'Electrohome Kingston' in your device's Bluetooth settings and select it to pair.
- Once paired, the 'BT' indicator on the system's display will stop flashing.
- You can now play audio from your device through the stereo system.
6.5 CD Player Operation
- Select 'CD' mode using the Function button.
- Press the 'Open/Close' button to open the CD tray.
- Place an audio CD onto the tray with the label side facing up.
- Press the 'Open/Close' button again to close the tray. The system will read the CD.
- Use the Play/Pause, Stop, and Skip buttons to control playback.
6.6 AM/FM Radio Operation
- Select 'AM' or 'FM' mode using the Function button.
- Rotate the Tuning knob to manually tune to your desired radio station.

- Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB port on the front panel.

6.9 Vinyl/CD to MP3 Recording

- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port. Ensure it has sufficient free space.
- Select either 'Phono' or 'CD' mode, depending on the source you wish to record.
- Start playback of the vinyl record or CD.
- Press the 'Record' button on the front panel. The recording indicator will illuminate, and the system will begin recording the audio to the USB drive as MP3 files.
- To stop recording, press the 'Record' button again or the 'Stop' button.
- Recorded files will be saved in a dedicated folder on the USB drive.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning the Unit

- Turntable Not Spinning: Ensure the unit is in Phono mode. Check if the tonearm is lifted from its rest.
- Skipping Records: Ensure the record is clean and free of dust. Check if the unit is on a stable, level surface. The stylus may be dirty or worn and require cleaning or replacement.
- Bluetooth Pairing Issues: Ensure the unit is in Bluetooth mode and flashing 'BT'. Make sure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and within range. Try unpairing and re-pairing the device.
- Poor Radio Reception: Adjust the position of the FM wire antenna. For AM, try rotating the unit for better reception.
- USB Recording Not Working: Ensure the USB drive is formatted correctly (FAT32) and has sufficient free space. Ensure the source (Vinyl or CD) is playing when the record button is pressed.
