Maintenance

Cleaning the Monitor

To clean the monitor screen, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, dampen the cloth with a small amount of water or a non-abrasive screen cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the screen surface. Ensure the monitor is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.

General Care

Keep the monitor in a well-ventilated area. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, excessive heat, or moisture. Do not block the ventilation openings on the monitor casing.

Troubleshooting

  • No Image on Screen: Check if the monitor is powered on and the power cable is securely connected. Verify that the video cable (DP or HDMI) is firmly connected to both the monitor and your computer. Ensure the correct input source is selected in the OSD menu.
  • Image is Blurry or Distorted: Confirm that the display resolution on your computer is set to the monitor's native resolution (3440 x 1440). Check the video cable for damage or loose connections.
  • Screen Tearing or Stuttering: Ensure AMD FreeSync is enabled in both the monitor's OSD and your graphics card control panel. Verify that your graphics card drivers are up to date.
  • Dead or Stuck Pixels: While rare, a small number of dead or stuck pixels may be present. If this significantly impacts your viewing experience, refer to the warranty information for potential remedies.
  • Monitor Not Reaching 144Hz: Ensure you are using a DisplayPort cable and that your graphics card supports 144Hz at WQHD resolution. Check your computer's display settings to confirm the refresh rate is set to 144Hz.
