Setup
1. Checking Arm Circumference
Before using the cuff, measure the circumference of your left upper arm, midway between your elbow and shoulder. The HEM-CS24-B cuff is designed for arm circumferences between 7 and 9 inches (17 to 22 cm). Using an incorrect cuff size can lead to inaccurate readings.
2. Attaching the Air Plug
Insert the air plug of the cuff firmly into the air jack of your compatible Omron blood pressure monitor until it clicks into place.
3. Applying the Cuff

- Sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor and your arm resting on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
- Slide your left arm through the cuff loop. The air tube should run down the inside of your arm.
- Position the cuff so the bottom edge is approximately 1 to 2 cm (0.5 inches) above your elbow. The air tube should be centered on the inside of your arm, aligned with your middle finger.
- Wrap the cuff snugly around your upper arm. The fabric fastener should be secure, but not uncomfortably tight. The 'INDEX' arrow on the cuff should fall within the 'RANGE' indicated on the cuff.

Taking a Measurement
