Setup and Installation

The ChipPower GS1 Power Chip is designed for straightforward, plug-and-play installation without the need for specialized tools or cutting wires. The device connects within the engine compartment. Each chip is individually tuned and supplied with connectors and fitting instructions specific to your engine model, engine size, engine power, and year of manufacture.

  1. Locate the Sensor: Identify the appropriate sensor in your vehicle's engine compartment where the chip will connect. The connection cable is designed to fit specific sensors. Refer to the provided vehicle-specific instructions for the exact sensor location.

  2. Connect the Cable: Attach the provided connection cable to the identified sensor. Ensure the connectors click securely into place. The installation process is designed to be simple, as shown in the visual guide below.

  3. Connect the Chip Module: Plug the ChipPower GS1 module into the other end of the connection cable. Ensure a firm connection.

  4. Secure the Module and Cables: Use the provided cable ties to securely fasten the ChipPower GS1 module and all cables away from moving parts, heat sources, and sharp edges within the engine compartment.
  5. Reconnect Battery: Reconnect the vehicle's battery.
  6. Verify Installation: Start the engine and check for any warning lights. If any issues arise, refer to the Troubleshooting section.

Operating Instructions

Once installed, the ChipPower GS1 Power Chip operates automatically. It optimizes engine parameters to increase power and torque by up to 15% and can improve fuel economy by 10-15%. No further user interaction is required after installation.

The chip is compatible with various gearbox types (manual and automatic) and DPF/GPF systems.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

  • Engine Warning Light: If an engine warning light appears after installation, check all connections to ensure they are secure. Disconnect and reconnect the battery to reset the vehicle's ECU. If the light persists, remove the chip and consult a mechanic.
  • No Performance Change: Verify that the chip is correctly installed and all connections are firm. Ensure the chip is compatible with your specific vehicle model and engine specifications.
  • Removing the Chip: To revert to factory settings, simply disconnect the ChipPower GS1 module and its connection cable from the vehicle. The vehicle's original parameters will be restored automatically.
