- Attach Portafilter: Securely attach the portafilter to the brewing head by twisting it firmly to the right.
- Place Cup: Place one or two espresso cups on the drip tray beneath the portafilter spouts.
- Brew Espresso: Press the espresso brewing button. The machine will dispense espresso. Press the button again to stop the flow when the desired volume is reached.

Steaming Milk
- Prepare Milk: Fill a stainless steel frothing pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) to just below the spout.
- Activate Steam: Press the steam button on the control panel. Wait for the steam indicator light to illuminate, indicating the machine has reached steaming temperature.
- Purge Steam Wand: Briefly open the steam knob to release any condensed water from the wand into an empty cup. Close the knob.
- Steam Milk: Immerse the tip of the steam wand just below the surface of the milk. Open the steam knob. Angle the pitcher to create a swirling motion. As the milk expands and heats, lower the pitcher slightly to keep the tip just below the surface.
- Finish Steaming: Once the milk reaches the desired temperature and texture (typically 140-150°F / 60-65°C), close the steam knob and remove the pitcher.
- Clean Steam Wand: Immediately wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth to remove any milk residue. Briefly open the steam knob again to clear any milk from inside the wand.
Maintenance and Cleaning
- Daily Cleaning: Empty and rinse the drip tray and water tank daily. Clean the portafilter and filter basket after each use. Wipe down the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
- Grinder Cleaning: Periodically clean the integrated grinder. Refer to the grinder section of this manual for specific instructions on removing and cleaning burrs. Ensure the machine is unplugged.
- Descaling: Depending on water hardness, descale the machine every 2-3 months or as indicated by performance. Use a commercial descaling solution designed for coffee machines and follow the product's instructions.
- Steam Wand Cleaning: Always clean the steam wand immediately after frothing milk to prevent blockages.
