Safety Instructions
WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in fire, electric shock, or injury.
- Read all instructions before using this heater.
- Do not cover the heater. Covering the heater can cause overheating and fire.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- Do not use outdoors.
- This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
- Connect to properly grounded outlets only.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- This appliance is equipped with an anti-overheating system and child safety lock. It complies with Class II standards and IP24 protection, and is CE, NF & ERP certified.

Setup & Installation
1. Choosing a Location
Select a suitable wall location for mounting the heater. Ensure there is sufficient clearance around the unit for proper air circulation. Avoid placing it directly under electrical outlets or near flammable materials.

2. Wall Mounting
- Mark the drilling points on the wall using the mounting bracket as a template.
- Drill holes at the marked points and insert the wall plugs.
- Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws. Ensure it is level and firmly attached.
- Carefully lift the heater and hook it onto the mounting bracket. Ensure it is securely seated.
3. Electrical Connection
The Haverland Medusa heater is designed for direct connection to the electrical mains. This installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical codes and regulations. The unit is equipped with a 6-order pilot wire for advanced control systems.
Important: Do not plug the heater into a standard wall outlet unless specifically designed for such use and rated for 2000W. Direct wiring is recommended.
Operating Instructions
1. Control Panel Overview
The heater features an intuitive LCD control panel for easy operation.

The control panel typically includes:
- Power Button: To turn the heater ON/OFF.
- Up/Down Arrows: To adjust temperature settings or navigate menus.
- PRG (Program) Button: To select or set heating programs.

2. Initial Power On

3. Setting the Temperature
Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to adjust your desired room temperature. The display will show the set temperature.
4. Operating Modes
Press the M (Mode) button to cycle through the available operating modes:
- Comfort Mode: Maintains your set temperature for continuous comfort.
- Economy Mode: Operates at a reduced temperature (e.g., 3°C below Comfort) to save energy.
- Frost Protection Mode (Hors-Gel): Maintains a minimum temperature (e.g., 7°C) to prevent freezing.
- Standby Mode (Veille): Heater is off but ready to be activated.
5. Programming
The Medusa heater offers 3 pre-recorded programs (P1, P2, P3) designed to suit various heating needs. To select a program:
- Press the PRG button.
- Use the Up/Down arrows to select P1, P2, or P3.
- Press PRG again to confirm your selection.

6. Open Window Detection
This feature automatically detects a sudden drop in temperature (e.g., when a window is opened) and temporarily switches the heater to Frost Protection mode to save energy. The heater will resume normal operation once the window is closed and the temperature stabilizes.

1. Cleaning
- Always disconnect the heater from the main power supply before cleaning.

- Ensure no water enters the internal components.
- Do not cover the heater when it is operating or immediately after use.
2. Storage
If storing the heater for an extended period, ensure it is clean, dry, and stored in a cool, dry place, protected from dust and direct sunlight.
