Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your rear view camera:

  1. Mounting the Camera: Secure the license plate frame with the integrated camera to your vehicle's rear license plate area using the provided screws. Ensure the camera lens is unobstructed and facing backward.
  2. Connecting Power:
    • Connect the red wire from the camera's power cable to the positive (+) terminal of your vehicle's reverse light circuit. This ensures the camera activates automatically when the vehicle is put into reverse.
    • Connect the black wire from the camera's power cable to a suitable ground point on the vehicle chassis.
  3. Connecting Video:
    • Connect the yellow RCA video cable from the camera to the video input on your car's display unit (e.g., head unit, monitor).
    • Route the video cable securely from the rear of the vehicle to the front, avoiding moving parts, heat sources, and sharp edges.
  4. Testing: After all connections are made, test the camera by putting the vehicle in reverse. The image should appear on your display.
