2. Safety Information

4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking and Placement
Carefully remove the printer and all accessories from the packaging. Place the printer on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is enough space around the printer for proper ventilation and for the paper tray to extend.

4.2 Connecting Power
Connect the provided power cord to the printer's power input and then to a suitable electrical outlet. The POWER indicator light on the front panel will illuminate when connected.
4.3 Loading Media (Paper and Ribbon)
The DNP QW410 uses a dye-sublimation process, requiring both paper and a ribbon. Refer to the diagrams below for proper loading.
- Open the top cover of the printer.
- Insert the ribbon cartridge into its designated slot, ensuring it clicks into place. The RIBBON indicator light should turn off if it was previously on.
- Load the photo paper into the paper holder, then place the paper holder into the paper tray.
- Insert the paper tray into the front slot of the printer until it is securely in place. The PAPER indicator light should turn off if it was previously on.

4.4 Connecting to a Computer
Connect the printer to your computer using a standard USB 2.0 cable (not included). The printer is compatible with Windows and Mac OS-X operating systems. Ensure you install the latest drivers from the DNP website for optimal performance.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Printing a Photo
Once the printer is set up and connected, you can initiate printing from your compatible device (e.g., computer, camera, smartphone via compatible software/app). The printer supports 4x6 inch and 4.5x8 inch media sizes.
- Print Speed: Approximately 19 seconds per 4x6 inch print. The printer can produce up to 190 4x6 inch prints per hour.
- Print Resolution: 300x300 dpi (dots per inch) for both color and black & white prints.
- Print Curl Reduction: The printer features an innovative mechanism to significantly reduce print curl, ensuring flat prints, especially when paper count is low.
5.2 Front Panel Indicators
