The Hunter BTT app provides comprehensive control over your watering schedule:

  • Soak Cycles: Utilize soak cycles to allow water to penetrate the soil, reducing runoff and improving absorption.

  • Delay Watering: Temporarily pause scheduled watering for a set period, useful after rainfall.
  • Manual Operation: Initiate immediate watering for a specified duration directly from the app.

3.2 Manual Override

The timer features a manual override button for immediate watering without using the app:

  1. Press the button on the front of the timer once to initiate a default manual watering cycle (e.g., 10 minutes).
  2. Press the button again to stop the manual watering cycle.
  3. The default manual run time can be adjusted within the Hunter BTT app settings.

4. Maintenance

  3. Open the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
  4. Remove the old batteries and insert new AA alkaline batteries, observing correct polarity.

  1. Turn off the water supply and remove the timer from the faucet.
  2. Carefully remove the screen from the inlet.
  3. Rinse the screen under running water to remove any trapped particles.
  4. Reinsert the clean screen into the inlet and reattach the timer to the faucet.
