Setup and Installation

Compatibility
The system is compatible with most existing central vacuum inlets that have a 1.5-inch inner diameter and two low-voltage metal pins inside.

Power Unit Placement
Place the central vacuum unit in a suitable location, typically a utility room, garage, or basement, ensuring proper ventilation and access for maintenance. The unit operates on a standard 15-amp circuit breaker.
Operating Instructions
Connecting the Hose and Accessories
- Insert the low-voltage hose into any compatible central vacuum inlet. The hose features a swivel at the handle to prevent kinking during use.
- Attach the desired cleaning tool (e.g., floor brush, crevice tool, dusting brush, upholstery brush) to the telescopic wand. The telescopic wand adjusts from 25.5 inches to 38 inches with a button lock for various cleaning heights.
- Connect the telescopic wand to the hose handle.

Powering On/Off
The system is activated by the ON-OFF switch located on the hose handle. Once activated, the 3-second delay technology ensures all debris is cleared from the hose before the system shuts down.
Cleaning Tips
- Use the 12-inch floor brush for hard surfaces like hardwood, tile, stone, concrete, vinyl, and linoleum. Its horsehair bristles prevent scratching.
- The crevice tool is ideal for cleaning tight spaces, cracks, and corners.
- The dusting brush is designed for delicate surfaces and leaves no marks on furniture or walls.
- The upholstery brush provides soft cleaning for furniture and fabrics.
Maintenance
Filtration System
The OVO Central Vacuum System features hybrid filtration. You can choose to use disposable bags or operate without them, utilizing the permanent, machine-washable filter.
- Disposable Bags: Recommended for optimal dust containment. Replace bags when full.
- Permanent Filter: If not using disposable bags, regularly clean the permanent filter. It is machine washable.
It is recommended to empty the canister or replace the disposable bag at least once a year, or more frequently depending on usage.
Motor Care
The Soft Start/Stop Technology helps prolong the life of the motor. No specific user maintenance is required for the motor itself beyond ensuring proper filtration.
General Cleaning
Wipe down the exterior of the central vacuum unit and accessories with a damp cloth as needed. Ensure all components are dry before reassembly or storage.
