Getting Started (Setup)

Unpacking and Initial Cleaning

Carefully remove all packaging materials and promotional labels from the appliance. Wash the grill grate, crisper basket, cooking pot, and splatter shield in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The main unit should be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Component Assembly

1. Place the cooking pot into the main unit.
2. Insert the desired cooking accessory (e.g., grill grate or crisper basket) into the cooking pot.
3. Ensure the splatter shield is properly installed in the underside of the hood.

Operating Your Ninja Foodi Grill

Control Panel Overview

The digital control panel allows for easy selection of cooking functions, time, and temperature settings.

Cooking Functions

The Ninja Foodi Grill offers multiple cooking functions:

• Grill: Achieves char-grilled results with Cyclonic Grilling Technology. Select desired grill temperature (LOW, MED, HIGH, MAX).
• Air Crisp: For crispy results with little to no oil.
• Roast: Tender results for meats and vegetables.
• Bake: For baking cakes, cookies, and more.
• Dehydrate: For making dried fruits, vegetables, and jerky.

Preheating

For best results, always allow the unit to preheat completely before adding food. The display will show 'PRE' and a progress bar during preheating. Once preheating is complete, the unit will beep and display 'Add Food'.

Cooking Process

1. Select your desired function (Grill, Air Crisp, Roast, Bake, Dehydrate).
2. Adjust the temperature and time as needed using the up/down arrows.
3. Press START/STOP to begin preheating.
4. Once 'Add Food' is displayed, carefully place your food onto the cooking accessory.
5. Close the hood. The timer will begin counting down.
6. During cooking, you can open the hood to check or flip food. The timer will pause and resume automatically when the hood is closed.
7. When cooking is complete, the unit will beep and display 'End'.

Using the Smart Thermometer (if included)

For precise cooking results, insert the Smart Thermometer into the thickest part of your protein. The unit will monitor the internal temperature and indicate when your food reaches the desired doneness.

Cleaning Instructions

• Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

• For stubborn food residue, soak parts in warm, soapy water before cleaning. Use a non-abrasive sponge or brush.
• Wipe the main unit clean with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
