3. Setup
3.1. SIM Card and Memory Card Installation
The Infinix HOT 8 supports dual Nano-SIM cards and a dedicated microSD card for expandable storage.
- Locate the SIM tray on the side of your device.
- Insert the SIM ejector tool into the small hole on the SIM tray to open it.
- Carefully place your Nano-SIM card(s) and/or microSD card into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure the gold contacts face downwards.
- Gently push the tray back into the phone until it is flush with the device's side.
3.2. Initial Power On
- Press and hold the Power button (located on the right side of the phone) until the Infinix logo appears on the screen.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial setup, including language selection, Wi-Fi connection, Google account setup, and security settings.
