Product Description
The Akuvox C315W multi-functional communicator, with an Android operating system, provides audio and video communication with door phones via SIP 2.0 protocol. It delivers the ultimate touch screen experience in an unobtrusive, space saving design featuring a brilliant 7 inch capacitive touch screen display.

Setup
Installation
- Choose a Location: Select a suitable indoor location for mounting the monitor, ensuring it is within reach of network and power connections.
- Mounting the Bracket: Secure the provided installation bracket to the wall using appropriate screws and anchors. Ensure the bracket is level and firmly attached.
- Connect Cables:
- Network Connection: Connect an Ethernet cable from your network switch/router to the LAN port on the monitor. If using Power over Ethernet (PoE), this will also provide power.
- External Power (if not using PoE): Connect a compatible DC power adapter (not included) to the power input port.
- Mount the Monitor: Carefully align the monitor with the mounted bracket and slide it into place until it clicks securely.
Initial Configuration
- Power On: Once connected, the monitor will power on automatically.
- Network Settings: The device will attempt to obtain an IP address via DHCP. If static IP is required, navigate to Settings > Network to configure manually.
- SIP Account Registration: Access the SIP settings menu to register your SIP account details (SIP server address, username, password) provided by your SIP service provider or PBX administrator.
- Date and Time: Configure the correct date and time settings, including time zone, under Settings > System.
Operating Instructions
Basic Functions
- Making a Call: Tap on a contact from the list or dial a number using the on-screen keypad.
- Receiving a Call: When an incoming call is detected, tap the green answer button to accept or the red hang-up button to decline.
- Two-Way Communication: During a call, speak into the built-in microphone and listen through the speaker.
- Door Release: If integrated with a door phone, a door release icon will appear during a call. Tap it to unlock the door.
Advanced Functions
- Monitoring Cameras: Tap the "Cameras" icon to view live feeds from connected IP cameras or door phone cameras.
- Home Automation Control: Access "Comfort," "Music," "Alarm," and "Lighting" icons to control integrated smart home devices. (Note: Requires compatible smart home system integration.)
- Contact Management: Add, edit, or delete contacts from the address book.
- Call History: View a list of all incoming, outgoing, and missed calls.
- Settings: Access the settings menu to adjust display brightness, volume, network settings, SIP accounts, and system preferences.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and exterior. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or aerosol sprays.
- Software Updates: Periodically check for firmware updates through the device's settings menu or the manufacturer's website to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Environmental Conditions: Operate the device within specified temperature and humidity ranges. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, excessive heat, or moisture.
- Power Cycle: If the device becomes unresponsive, disconnect the power source for 10 seconds and then reconnect it to perform a power cycle.
