2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to set up your Aquatec XL Bath Lift:

  1. Positioning: Place the bath lift securely in the bathtub. Ensure the base is flat and stable.
  2. Suction Cups: Press down firmly on the bath lift to engage the self-releasing suction cups on the base. Verify that all suction cups are securely attached to the bathtub surface.
  3. Backrest: Ensure the backrest is properly aligned and secured to the main unit.
  4. Hand Control: Connect the hand control to the designated port on the bath lift. The hand control can be conveniently stored on the backrest when not in use.
  5. Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the hand control battery according to the charging instructions (refer to Section 5.1).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Charging the Battery

The bath lift is powered by a lithium-ion battery integrated into the hand control. To charge:

  • Connect the charger (not included in the 'What's in the Box' list, but typically supplied with the product) to the hand control and a power outlet.
  • An indicator light on the hand control will show charging status.
  • A full charge typically takes several hours. Do not overcharge.

5.2 Using the Bath Lift

To operate the bath lift:

  1. Lowering: Press and hold the "DOWN" button on the hand control to gently lower the seat into the bathtub. The minimum seat height is 2.5 inches (6.35 cm).
  2. Reclining: The backrest can recline up to 40 degrees for a comfortable bathing position. Adjust as needed using the controls.
  3. Raising: After bathing, press and hold the "UP" button to raise the seat to the desired height for easy transfer out of the tub. The maximum lifting height is 16.5 inches (41.9 cm).
  4. Stopping: Release the button to stop movement at any point. Use the "STOP" button for immediate halt.

6. Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your bath lift.

  • Covers: The bath lift can be used with or without washable cover materials. If using covers, follow their specific washing instructions.
