4. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to set up your Aquatec XL Bath Lift:

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Charging the Battery
The bath lift is powered by a lithium-ion battery integrated into the hand control. To charge:
- Connect the charger (not included in the 'What's in the Box' list, but typically supplied with the product) to the hand control and a power outlet.
- An indicator light on the hand control will show charging status.
- A full charge typically takes several hours. Do not overcharge.

5.2 Using the Bath Lift
To operate the bath lift:
- Lowering: Press and hold the "DOWN" button on the hand control to gently lower the seat into the bathtub. The minimum seat height is 2.5 inches (6.35 cm).
- Reclining: The backrest can recline up to 40 degrees for a comfortable bathing position. Adjust as needed using the controls.
- Raising: After bathing, press and hold the "UP" button to raise the seat to the desired height for easy transfer out of the tub. The maximum lifting height is 16.5 inches (41.9 cm).
- Stopping: Release the button to stop movement at any point. Use the "STOP" button for immediate halt.

6. Maintenance and Care
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your bath lift.
