Maintenance

Battery Replacement

Each handheld microphone requires 2 AA batteries. Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the microphone's digital screen. Always use fresh alkaline batteries for optimal performance and battery life (14-17 hours).

Cleaning and Storage

Wipe the microphones and receiver with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Store the system in its aluminum carrying case when not in use to protect it from dust and physical damage.

Troubleshooting

  • No Sound/Interference: Check microphone batteries. Ensure receiver and microphones are powered on and synchronized. Adjust frequencies on the receiver if interference is detected. Ensure antennas are properly connected and positioned.
  • Low Volume: Adjust individual microphone volume knobs on the receiver and the master volume on your connected audio system. Check microphone battery levels.
  • Microphone Not Connecting: Perform manual frequency pairing by aligning the IR windows of the microphone and receiver. Ensure both units are within the effective operating range.
  • Distorted Sound: Reduce microphone volume on the receiver. Ensure the microphone is not too close to the speaker. Check for strong electromagnetic interference sources nearby.
