Setup

Power Connection:

  1. AC Power: Connect the AC power cord to the AC inlet on the unit and then to a standard 230V ~ 50Hz wall outlet.
  2. Battery Power: For portable use, open the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit. Insert 4 'C' (UM2) batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.

Antenna Setup:

Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal DAB/DAB+ and FM radio reception. Adjust its position for the best signal quality.

Initial Power On:

Press the POWER button (usually labeled "FUN" or a power symbol) to turn on the unit. The display will light up.

Operating Instructions

CD Playback:

  1. Open the CD compartment cover.
  2. Place a CD (MP3, CD, CD-R/RW) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
  3. Close the CD compartment cover.
  4. Press the MODE or FUNCTION button to select "CD" mode.
  5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback.
  6. Use the SKIP buttons (<< / >>) to navigate between tracks.
  7. Adjust volume using the VOL- / VOL+ buttons.

DAB/DAB+ Radio Operation:

  1. Extend the telescopic antenna.
  2. Press the MODE or FUNCTION button to select "DAB" mode.
  3. The unit will automatically scan for available DAB/DAB+ stations on first use or if no stations are stored.
  4. Use the PRESET or TUNE buttons to browse through available stations.
  5. Press ENTER to select a station.
  6. Adjust volume using the VOL- / VOL+ buttons.

FM Radio Operation:

  1. Extend the telescopic antenna.
  2. Press the MODE or FUNCTION button to select "FM" mode.
  3. Press and hold the TUNE buttons (<< / >>) to auto-scan for the next available station. Briefly press to fine-tune.
  4. Adjust volume using the VOL- / VOL+ buttons.

USB Playback:

  1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port.
  2. Press the MODE or FUNCTION button to select "USB" mode.
  3. The unit will automatically begin playing MP3 files.
  4. Use the SKIP buttons (<< / >>) to navigate between tracks.
  5. Adjust volume using the VOL- / VOL+ buttons.

AUX-IN Connection:

  1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX-IN port using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
  2. Press the MODE or FUNCTION button to select "AUX" mode.
  3. Playback is controlled from the connected external device.
  4. Adjust volume using the VOL- / VOL+ buttons on the boombox, and also on the external device.

Headphone Use:

Plug standard 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack for private listening. Speakers will be muted automatically.

Remote Control:

The included remote control allows for convenient operation of most functions from a distance. Ensure the remote has working batteries and is pointed towards the front of the boombox.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • CD Lens Care: If CD playback issues occur, use a commercially available CD lens cleaner disc. Do not touch the CD lens directly.
