3. Setup and Assembly
The Babylo Natura BL11906 Folding Crib requires minimal assembly. Follow these steps to set up your crib:
- Unfolding the Crib:
Place the folded crib on a flat, clean surface. Gently pull the two ends of the crib apart until the frame fully extends and locks into place. You should hear an audible click, indicating that the side rails are securely locked.
- Attaching the Legs:
The wooden legs are pre-attached. Ensure they are fully extended and locked into their upright position. The legs may have numbered indicators (e.g., '1' and '2') to guide proper alignment. Press down firmly on the top rails to ensure all four corners are stable.
- Inserting the Mattress:
Unfold the provided mattress and place it firmly into the base of the crib. Ensure it lies flat and fits snugly against all sides, leaving no gaps between the mattress and the crib walls.
- Verifying Stability:
Before use, gently push down on the crib and shake it slightly to confirm all components are securely locked and stable. Do not use if any part feels loose or unstable.

The crib is designed to fold flat for convenient storage or transport:
- Remove the mattress from the crib.
- Locate the release buttons or mechanisms on the side rails (often marked with numbers like '1' and '2' as seen on the legs).
- Press the release buttons and gently push the side rails inwards, allowing the crib frame to collapse.

5. Maintenance and Care
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safety of your Babylo Natura Folding Crib:
- Cleaning: Wipe down the frame and fabric components with a damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly with a clean, damp cloth. Allow to air dry completely before folding or storing. Do not use abrasive cleaners or bleach.
- Mattress Care: The mattress can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Ensure it is completely dry before placing it back in the crib.
- Storage: When not in use, store the folded crib in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Inspections: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Inspect the mesh fabric for any tears or damage. Replace any worn or damaged parts immediately.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Babylo Natura Folding Crib, refer to the following common solutions:
- Crib feels wobbly after assembly:
Ensure all side rails are fully extended and locked into place. Press down firmly on the top rails at each corner to confirm engagement. Check that the legs are securely extended and the rocking mechanism (if engaged) is stable.
- Difficulty folding the crib:
Ensure the mattress has been removed. Verify that all locking mechanisms on the side rails are properly disengaged before attempting to collapse the frame. Sometimes one side may require a firmer push to release.
- Mattress does not fit snugly:
Ensure the crib frame is fully extended and locked. The mattress should fit without significant gaps. If gaps are present, re-check assembly or contact customer support.
