3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Inspection

Carefully remove the BT-Pro V2 from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. Ensure all components are present, including the BT-Pro V2 unit and any included accessories.

3.2 Powering the Unit

The BT-Pro V2 can be powered in two ways:

1. USB Power Input: Connect a standard USB power adapter (not included) to the USB Power Input port on the unit.
2. Phantom Power: The unit can also draw power from a mixer or PA system via the balanced XLR outputs if phantom power is supplied.

3.3 Connecting Audio Outputs

Connect the balanced XLR Left Out and Right Out ports on the BT-Pro V2 to the corresponding inputs on your mixer or PA system. Use high-quality XLR cables for optimal audio performance.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Bluetooth Pairing

To pair your smart device with the BT-Pro V2:

1. Ensure the BT-Pro V2 is powered on. The 'PAIR' LED will blink, indicating it's in pairing mode.
2. On your smart device (phone, tablet, laptop), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
3. Look for a device named 'BT-Pro V2' followed by a unique identifier (e.g., 'BT-Pro V2-XXXX'). Select it to connect.
4. Once connected, the 'PAIR' LED on the BT-Pro V2 will illuminate steadily.

4.2 Output Level Control

The 'OUTPUT LEVEL' knob on the top panel adjusts the overall output volume of the BT-Pro V2. Rotate clockwise to increase the level and counter-clockwise to decrease it. Adjust this to achieve an appropriate signal level for your mixer or PA system.

4.3 Mono Sum Function

The 'MONO' switch allows you to sum the stereo Bluetooth signal into a single mono output. This is useful when feeding a mono PA system or when a mono signal is preferred. When the switch is engaged, both Left and Right XLR outputs will carry the summed mono signal.

4.4 Headphone Monitoring

A 3.5mm headphone jack is provided for direct monitoring of the audio signal. Connect your headphones to this jack to listen to the output without affecting the main XLR outputs.

4.5 Ground Lift

The 'LIFT/GROUND' switch on the rear panel helps to eliminate hum and buzz that can occur due to ground loops in your audio system. If you experience unwanted noise, try toggling this switch to the 'LIFT' position.

  • Minimize other wireless interference sources (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other Bluetooth devices).
• Hum or Buzz in Audio:
  • Engage the 'LIFT/GROUND' switch on the rear panel to break potential ground loops.
